This is a lovely family-run hotel! The proprietor, Daniel, kindly let us leave our luggage early in the morning so we could spend the day exploring the walks around the beautiful town of Brisighella. His mom was nearby chatting with other guests or employees. He suggested that we visit the hotel's rooftop terrace for its views. He was right! Spectacular views! It would be a lovely place for an afternoon drink! We followed Daniel's directions to visit the nearby Rocca with its splendid views, then we headed on to visit the nearby sanctuary, which has some beautiful relief sculptures en route, and then the outdoor geological museum which was VERY interesting. Lots of gypsum crystals sparkling on the trail... When we returned, our room was ready - very spacious, clean, well-appointed, and with a balcony overlooking a small town piazza with a fountain. Delightful! There was a much-appreciated bowl of fresh fruit, excellent toiletries, and a very nice, modern, spacious bathroom with a large shower - much appreciated after walking all day in the warm sun! We had a chance to chat with Daniel a bit more - he was very warm and friendly, a perfect host! We didn't have time to try the hotel restaurant - I believe Daniel is the chef. But if we return to Brisighella - a very good possibility, because we loved it so much - we definitely would like to stay here again, AND try the Albergo La Rocca restaurant!

The breakfast was excellent. The choice was sweet or savoury. I only had sweet, which was a selection of pastries, juices, yoghurts and fresh fruit. Coffee/tea etc. Delicious. The staff were amazing. The owners very welcoming, friendly and so accommodating. The room was wonderful. Huge TV, mini bar. excellent shower, double basins, bidet, walk in wardrobe and a little dining area, and two cosy armchairs. The whole hotel was beautifully decorated. It has a roof terrace with lovely views, but was too hot to sit up there during our stay. We ate in the restaurant twice, great food; sitting out on the terrace which is so prettily decorated, with gorgeous arches hanging with ivy. Our stay was pure joy. We will certainly be going back.

Well situated in the centre of the town. Free parking. Daniele, his family and all the staff were kind, friendly and efficient. We stayed for six nights while visiting family in the area. Very comfortable room with a lovely view. Immaculate bathroom, with daily room service. Fresh fruit in the room with the fridge and very nice free products in the bathroom, (I love the hand cream) Air con in room. Welcoming to our grandchild and dogs. There were a number of places to sit and a lovely terrace on the third floor with views over the village. Excellent locally sourced food and home-made pasta.

Great location in the centre of old Brisighella. Our room was huge and clean, with a balcony looking out over a square and fountain, streets and hills. The bed was very big, bathroom and shower also gigantic. There's a wonderful view from the roof terraces in particular. The hotel has a restaurant which serves very good dinner and breakfast. Parking is possible along the local streets (we parked slightly up the hill on the way in) and potentially in the car park out front, although there seem to be restrictions. There are lots of good restaurants, bars, little shops and sights you can walk to.

We loved everything about La Rocca! Right in the center of the historic beautiful village of Brisighella, under the clock tower and the fortress this is a gem of a hotel- small, family run, sparkling clean. Our room had a little balcony, lots of light and a view to the clock tower. There is a great sun terrace and the whole area is scenic. Daniel the owner is wonderful , and went out of his way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable, helping us with recommendations and any requests. His restaurant on the premise has delicious food. All the staff were so friendly it was a true pleasure.
